Lock in your love with our exclusive “Love Lock Cruise.”
Start your journey on one of our beautiful gondolas, complete with a non-alcoholic beverage, scattered rose petals, a half dozen roses, and chocolates to nibble on. About 30 minutes into your cruise, a clear glass wine bottle will bob up next to the gondola in the water, and the gondolier will ask you to retrieve it. Inside is your customized message on a parchment scroll. If you’re proposing, now is the time to get down on one knee! If you’re celebrating an anniversary, birthday, or “just because,” your guest will love this keepsake message. But the trip isn’t over yet!
As you round the corner and go under the Love Lock Bridge, your gondolier will pull the gondola to the side and ask you to please step out of the boat so he can make a quick repair. He will slip you your engraved lock.* You head up to the Love Lock Bridge and surprise your sweetheart, commemorating your relationship by adding your lock to Texas’ most romantic bridge.
You get back on the gondola and complete your 90-minute cruise. At the end of the ride, there’s just one last surprise for your sweetheart – the gondolier presents you with a wooden keepsake bottle message box to store the love note received earlier in the cruise. The ultimate romantic experience!
*If the winds are too strong to dock the gondola mid-cruise, or if you arrived late for your cruise and there isn’t enough time to stop at the Love Lock Bridge, the gondolier will give you the lock at the end of your cruise and provide you with walking directions to get to the bridge.
**Engraving details must be received at least 72-hours prior to the cruise, and no later than noon on Thursday if the cruise is Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. If the engraving details are not received within this time frame, your lock will not be engraved, but will have an etched gondola with a clear sticker with your names on it. You may also bring your own lock, if desired.
